29 He gives power to the weak
and strength to the powerless.
30 Even youths will become weak and tired,
and young men will fall in exhaustion.
31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.
Eagles have strong vision, which focuses up to 5 kilometers from the air.
The Eagle is the only bird that loves the storm because it uses the wings of the storm to rise.
Eagles rejuvenate when they are old by going to the ROCKS to pluck off its old feathers and stays there until new feathers grow.
There is no promise in Christianity that we will not go through hard time but that everyday we can learn to soar like Eagles; fixing our eyes on the most high, rejoicing in the storms of life and seeking the rock of ages to be renewed. The magic word that asks God for a refill when we feel like our cups are being emptied is HOPE. Through hope in his promises we find strength to soar, run and walk trusting that he will give us “a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair”.
